About me

In an optional psychology class at Saint Clare High School, I felt a connection to children. I was taking an internship at PANI where we helped suffering children and from this I immediately felt helping children would be my lifelong project; psychology was my calling. I work to change an initial attitude of frustration and hopelessness into a positive and hopeful one. Empowering children and their parents/guardians to take advantage of opportunities and fight for the obstacles presented in their daily lives, is my goal. Children want to enjoy life and we must help them do that through interaction or helping them find support strategies at their schools. At the same time we must give strength to their parents during the aging process. I truly listen and try to understand the capabilities of each child or parent as we work together to achieve long-term results.
